If you’ve started, they’re obligated to let you finish at their expense (OK, so you have to be “in good standing”, i.e. no taking 12 years to finish a BA in Spanish). And it is crazy (to me). But it is a PRSC decision so until four more people with any resemblance of sense get appointed AND get a chance to revisit the issue, it is so.
