Do I count as one of the little blonde preppies from the OP ? ( even though i’m not blonde) Not really I guess , I 've been dressing Punk/Goth since I was about 12 ( to the horror of my shallow , overbearing mother).As a matter of fact , when I was still in school they called me S.O.S. meaning spawn of satan. when stores like Hot topic came out I was pretty happy because they had brought some of my favorite kind of clothes to the local mall. ---

You know what? I never really was “goth” I was just punk. I just took the term punk/goth from the OP because it seemed to fit. But I will admit it , I used to own black , purple , and blue lipsticks. What can I say ? I was rebelling at the time. ---

Did the hamsters eat one of the posts in this thread, or have I finally lost it? I’ve been watching this thread with amusement (being an ex-“punk” from the mid-to-late 80s which was ahead of the curve for my backwater hometown but way behind the rest of the world), and I thought that on Friday (Oct 18) somebody posted a description of how cool he was based on his “l33t” fashion sense. Was that not in this thread? Does anybody else remember that post? If it wasn’t here, can you point me to the right thread? My fiance was incredibly entertained when I recounted the post to him, and I want to find it again. ---
