# When did Fortune Cookies go from Fortunes to Affirmations? Did they get sued for false advertising?

My mother used to pack my lunch when I was in grade school. Every so often she’d put in a note that said, _“Help, I’m being held prisoner in a school lunch factory.”_

My brother once got a cookie “fortune” that said

**The four food groups are vegetable & fruit, meat, dairy, and grain.**

Not making that up, I swear.
