# When did the concept of "sports bars" originate?

Similarly, though the topic was only “sporty” in the loosest possible sense, [the people at the bar watched a talk show](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAb1W6FJ2qo) where Frasier and Lilith (the character’s second appearance, wearing her hair in a markedly different style than earlier, hence Frasier’s surprised reaction) debated psychiatry.
