I’m usually an observant person and I have an acuity for noticing minor changes, but I’ll be damned that I’ve missed this one for who knows how long. I hadn’t noticed it, but someone in another thread wrote “we need that putz smiley back” (or something to that effect). I never used it myself and I have no need to use it at the moment. Now that I think about it, it’s been awhile since I have seen the putz smiley. As I opened up the editor for this thread I looked to the right and sure enough, the putz is gone! What I’d like to know is, when did it disappear, and why? I also noticed the Jewish man is gone, too. Did I miss a recent vote on which smileys need to be cast out? While I’m at it, if we’re going to do away with two of the smileys, is there any chance we can get the popularly requested “puke” smiley to fill one of the vacancies? ---

The “Putz!” or “Wally” and “Happy Orthodox Jew” smilies were removed in [August](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=7674482). ---

I’d like a pukey smiley, and if possible a better embarrased smiley than the one we have.
