# When did we first try to be vegeterians?

An absolutely darling Deadhead I know (who’s been on tour for too long, if you know what I mean) believes that humans-- meaning anatomically modern humans-- were vegans before they were omnivores. He believes that we farmed before we hunted. He said that cave paintings prove this.

I argued, but not very much. Gotta pick your battles.
