I paid our lawnmower guy in cash yesterday.
I still use cash for small purchases and gas. I just make sure I don’t touch my face until my hands have been washed.
I’m a bad person in that I walk up to a gas/convenience store every noon to buy a candy bar. It is $1.61 (or $2.16 if I go for a large one), and I pay cash because I don’t want to hit them with the minimum CC charge.
Otherwise, I put everything on a card.
What’s “cash”? Seriously, I haven’t used cash once since this began, and not for many months prior, either. Also, most stores around here aren’t even taking it, and the large ones that are, with many checkout lanes, typically only accept it at one designated checkout counter. Some stores have increased the maximum chipcard tap limits so you can use a credit card for larger purchases without having to enter a PIN or touch anything at all.
Oddly enough, gas stations seem to be the exception and I’ve seen them still taking cash and giving change as always.
I never use cash unless it is required, and so nothing has changed.
Everything is on the credit card and paid off at the end of the month.
Did I read right, or is it a parody? Bill Gates has a patent 666 for cryptocurrency? Are they that obvious, I always thought it would be sneaky or stealth, not right out there. I will never get that.
Absolutely. Revelation is full of predictions. All you have to do is search for “VISA,” “MasterCard,” “Discover,” or “Paypal.” They’re all there. But you might have to use the “Bible Code” method of searching to find it. God moves in mysterious and obscure ways. One might even call them devious or devilish.
I use cash. Take what I get back and put it in coat pocket. Use that next time. Wash hands after handling. Figure that by the time I use it again any viral material would have died.
Are you implying that whole world must use Bill Gates’ crypto currency for the apocalypse to happen? If so I should get on board now it’ll be better than bit coin.
As my use of cash I got a thousand dollars in cash back in November and that was all we used for close to two months but I haven’t had cash since. It doesn’t look like I’m going to get paid in cash any time soon so it’ll be a while before I use cash again.
Tuesday when I bought our dinner from the Mexican place on the corner. Told the drive-thru woman to keep the change. Like others, I had pulled a bunch out of the bank when lock-down went into effect, for just this sort of reason.
Two weeks ago - and the farthest I have been from my home since then was to empty my trash into a dumpster. I’ll pay cash if I go through a drive-thru this weekend.
I normally pay for everything with cash. I carry a debit card to use at ATMs, but no credit cards.
I last took cash from the ATM on Mar. 13.
I started paying for groceries and all other purchases with my debit card on Mar. 16, the day my city was locked down.
I switched from using my debit card for purchases to using a credit card on Apr. 18.
I still have almost all of the cash from that ATM withdrawal in my wallet.
I last used cash yesterday, as I happened to find $16 in a shorts pocket from last summer, and wanted to try out a taco truck that parks right across the street from my apartment every day. I’ve lived here two years and never went because I almost NEVER use cash.
Before yesterday? I couldn’t tell you when I last used it. I use my debit card 99.9999% of the time. I use the HSA card for an insurance plan I had year ago more often than I use cash
I used cash just now to pay my son’s allowance. Don’t know if that counts since he’s a member of our household. He then paid me back some of it so I could buy a toy online that he wants.
yestaurday. I had food delivered and I wanted to give them a cash tip. before that march 15th same restaurant, but at that time it was eat in also to give cash tip.
This morning–for my Dunkin’ coffee at the drive thru. And I used cash yesterday at the grocery store, and at the drug store for my prescriptions.
I use cash pretty much every day and always have. I rarely use my credit cards.
What are you talking about?
Revelation 13.17 on facebook there was this post I couldn’t copy which said Gates got a patent for his currency and the patent number was 060606. Maybe someone can find that, thought it was odd
“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Doesn’t say jack about a cashless society.
SuntanLotion, you’ve been out in the sun too long. You are about to receive a Revelation.
