# When did you last see a US Celluar Commercial

Just curious, I can’t remember the last time I saw one. I can’t even find a current one online.

Former U.S. Cellular employee here.

In November 2012 U.S. Cellular announced the sale of certain markets to Sprint. Chicago was one of these markets. The deal was closed in May of 2013 and U.S. Cellular’s network in Chicago was shut down by the end of the year. You don’t see any commercials from them because they no longer offer service in your area.
