Do they even sleep? I’ve been awakened a few times in the last few months by a bird that starts singing at 3 in the morning. Whether the street light fools it into thinking it’s dawn, I don’t know.

How much sleep does a bird need? Where do they sleep, on trees, on the ground or somewhere else?

Birds sleep when they are tired. Many like to tuck their head under a wing. Some sleep in trees, others sleep on the ground. Whereever they happen to feel comfortable and/or safe. 😃😃😃
