# When does "Smallville" get good?

By that I don’t mean to say it’s terrible, but the first season seems very “monster of the week”. I have seen some (but not many) spoilers that refer to Brainiac, Supergirl and eventually the entire Justice league. When does it start moving toward a more serialized storyline?
