When Funny Shows Turn Poignant (Warning: Some Spoilers Possible)

I don’t know; I never saw that part of the episode. I have this quote: “Some felt the jokes tasteless, among them lines delivered at the party next door at Mike and Gloria’s, that the characters didn’t realized bore on Edith’s unfolding misfortune.”

My boyfriend just finished work as a PA on a movie he’s in - didn’t get to speak to him, but saw him a good bit and said he looked rough, really tired and ill looking. I’m worried - he’s one of my favorite actors and I always think he seems like such a nice guy.

The thread made it to three pages and no one mentioned Taxi?

Their most tear jerking episode was when Alex got his old dog back from someone who did not want to take care of it anymore. The dog was really sick and the vet advised Alex to put the dog to sleep. Alex did not want to, insisting that the dog was still his old self again and tried to prove it to the rest of the garage by telling the dog to play dead. There was a long moment where everyone though that the dog wasn’t going to get up from his trick but he eventually did.

If that dog had died I would have cried myself to sleep that night.
