…I always try to pick my teeth with my cursor. Not my mouse, mind you: my mouse cursor. It’s a pointy little white arrow and my tongue just can’t get that piece of dough unstuck. It’s like my brain is on a never ending loop: 1. Stuck food detected. Need something sharp 2. The pointer is sharp. Use that. 3. Wait, that’s impossible, silly. Start over. Strangest part is that my hand is on the mouse so it feels like I’m holding the arrow already. _Struggles_ Just…can’t…lift…off…screen…earheghaehae!!! ---

I double-clicked the automatic door locks in my car once. To me, that seemed a more normal error than double clicking in explorer view, which only requires one click to open a folder. ---

I sometimes try to use my remote car key to open the door to my apartment as I walk up. It’s so annoying when I have to resort to the analog key that came with the lease. ---

I have, on occasion, attempted to brush flies, moths, and other assorted flying insects off of the screen with the mouse pointer. This action is always accompanied by embarrassment. I also once tried to scroll the pointer down to my cell phone sitting beneath the monitor in order to answer it. ---

When I’ve accidentally made an error, I reach blindly for _command-z._ Then I realize that you can’t **UNDO** when you’ve just cut that piece of wood an inch too short. ---

Some skittish insects will actually move away from the bright, moving pixels. Others don’t, so I scroll the page around _slowly_ attempting to discombobulate them. ---

My officemate actually has a setup with two computers at his desk (running different operating systems, even) networked together such that he really can scroll his mouse pointer over from one screen to the other. ---

Eesh, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has done this. Of course I work in AutoCAD 10 hrs a day so Ctrl-Z is a normal part of life. Re: the key fob thing. My wife saw one of her cow-orkers getting into the passenger side of his truck. She asked him why. He told her that the key fob only opened the passengerside door and the auto locks were broken on the driver’s side. She asked him why he didn’t just stick his key in the door and open it. :blink, blink: :blink, blink: :smack: It had never even occured to him that his key would also open his door.
