**Me.** Free and able to do what I want. None of this post-apocalyptic 1. super states where there is no free will, 2. robots are replacing us, or 3. aliens have sent humans to slave pins. Otherwise, a good husband and father. I’m not shooting high, I’m just shooting. Other otherwise, a video game tester. Playing video games all day with no one yelling at you to stop. Or classes. ---

When I grow up I want to be the owner of a Fishing guide service and tackle shop. You would have to try out everything just to make sure that you knew your product line and where the best places are to fish. 🙂 Damn, that would be a hard life. ---

I wanna be pampered… and I don’t mean _dressed_ in Pampers. I want someone else to do the fretting and worrying and pay attention to all the details. I want delicious, healthful meals to be ready when I’m ready to eat. I want the gardens weeded and the grass mowed and the recycling bin brought in from the curb. I want the oil in my van changed regularly and the pantry well-stocked and the bed freshly made daily. dang - I want a wife! ---

When my stock options mature (and there working on it harder than I am) I want to be very, very, very rich (or I could win the lottery, I’m not fussy about where the money comes from as long as it’s legal). Then I want to buy a restaurant/brewpub and keep it as my own private playpen. I’d have a little store attached where I could sell mead/beer/candy/pastry/pies/jam (or whatever I damn well felt like making that day) as take-away only. ---

I’m gonna be an eccentric old lady. My 58th birthday’s coming up soon, so I’m doing ok on the “old” part, but as long as I’m in the corporate world I have to take it kind of easy on the eccentric. My deepest sympathies to those of you who actually feel grown up. Maybe it’s just a phase and you’ll grow out of it. ---

When I grow up (All of you laughing can pipe down a bit…) Hmm… I want to be young at heart? Beloved by all? Recognized as the single largest force to change civilization since the Romans stored wine in lead containers? Able to spell? A tree? Its not that I don’t have goals, or at least stuff I’m working on until I figure out what I should be doing, but growing up sounds so final. It didn’t happen when I turned five (which was my earliest hypothesis on this topic), ten wasn’t a big jump either, 16 got me a license but nothing more, 18 got me a vote, none of it has been a huge milestone. I think I’m as grown up as I want to be. Which is not much and I’ll be headed back to the pillow fight thread now…sorry for dripping on the carpet.
