I used to do this as well. Because the dam structure was made out of snow, it was inherent that it would fail due to melting at some point. Part of the fun was trying to predict exactly where it would fail. And then of course watching it all get swept away.

I knew there had to be at least one of you. I’ll be there. I think it’s only fair to remind you that I am an American, thus I never leave home without being heavily armed. I have also been told I am quick on the trigger and near sighted, so don’t be holding a phone in your hand.

I broke a water pipe while dangling under a pier. It was gushing water into the sea where nobody could see it unless they were swimming directly below. I just went along my way not thinking about it until years later when California started suffering its perennial droughts. Sorry…
