Thanks. In October, we smelled gas. I called the gas company. The team confirmed a gas leak. They said it was an internal leak in the oven.They shut off the gas to the oven/ stove top. They said I needed a new oven/ stove top. They confirmed there was no longer a gas leak and left. Yesterday, after the second incident I called the gas company and reported a leak. The team that came could not detect a leak. They verified the gas to the oven/ stove top was still shut off. I cannot say what the problem actually is. But, it is not a gas leak. ---
