# When is MPSIMS to mundane and pointless?

Because I got about 5000 posts take a few k or so worth of stuff I can post. Where do I do we draw the limit? With my luck this post is in the wrong forum.

actually, if you’re asking this question in terms of looking for a factual answer, perhaps “General Questions” is more appropriate. Of course, if you’re looking to poll other posters opinions on the matter, “In My Humble Opinion” would be the more correct forum.
Now, if you 're wondering about the relative values of mundane and pointless as they go on a cosmic scale, “great Debates” might be more appropriate.
of course, if you’re questioning how to figure out which forum to use or test how to post a coherant sentance, perhaps “about this Message Board”.
On the other hand, if you’re just trying to F\*\*\*'in pad your post count, then the “Pit” is the answer you seek.

ok, you were looking for a straight answer?
well. read the forum descriptions. If your thought is just one of those “I had a Snickers Bar today” probably MPSIMS is probably the best bet.
If you were looking, on the other hand to do “I like Snickers the best, how about you?”, then IMHO.
If the idea is “what are the ingredients in a snickers bar” then General Questions.
If you wanted to debate the relative merits of dining on Snickers [sub]tm [/sub] then Debates. But be prepared, folks here seem to take their chocolate seriously.
On the other hand if it was “I went to buy a Snickers bar and those money grubbing A\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* raised the prices and now I can’t afford them” then, perhaps the PIT.
can’t come up with an About this Snicker’s Bar reference.
Bottom line is that mods can move a thread if they think its appropriate, you can e-mail them and ask ahead of time if you’re really concerned (they do seem to be a bit more understanding of a newbie in this area). At worst, they’ll close your thread and tell you to re-open it in the correct forum.

Snickers is the only chocolate bar I like. I would never say anything bad about it…I guess I could post in IMHO.

Actually, I read the OP as “is there anything too mundane and pointless for MPSIMS” not guidelines for which forum to post different queries in.
If that is the case, this OP does belong in MPSIMS (otherwise it would go in ATMB)
And the answer is that there is **nothing** too mundane and pointless for MPSIMS!
