I think its more like PETA where any publicity is good publicity. We all know what eye candy it is to see a lock on a thread. “oooh! what train wreck happened there? must see!” and now a pit thread? even MORE people to buy T-Shirts. It’s geting really old. ---

You know, **Fenris** , none of that might actually happen if everyone didn’t keep prodding and poking and provoking her in this thread. So she over-reacts and claims everyone is out to get her - you think the way to remedy this is to poke fun at her? Think that really helps the situation? Your last post was the equivalent of “pulling up a lawn chair”, laughing at things **Opal** ’s done in the past, and ganging up on her by encouraging others to do the same. No matter how ridiculous Opal is or is not being, I think that’s sad. ---

except, of course, **Francesca, Opal** _started_ this thread. and, having followed the saga through the stages, I could have predicted this whole thing. She originally posted a thread about t-shirt designs, linking her ‘for sale here’ link. it was closed and she was informed about the rule. Saw this one. And agree that it amounts to a ‘for sale’ site. Given that the mods also closed down a joke thread where **Esprix** was auctioning off gum w/attached gay porn (and it was obviously a joke, bids were a penny sort of thing), I’m curious why anyone would be surprised at this. and, FWIW, I’m quite happy that folks aren’t selling things right and left around here. ---

Not a bad point, although one can wonder if it’s still a pile-on if you start it yourself, with no valid complaint, for the umpteenth time. Pitting a newbie for poor spelling and getting 54 regulars to agree with you may be considered a pile-on. This hardly qualifies, IMHO. ---
