Indiana made it illegal for nonuniformed officers to make traffic stops and told people that if they were pulled over and the person in the car wasn’t wearing a uniform, they could legally drive away because that person didn’t have the authority to make a traffic stop. This was after a rash of fake cop rapes in the same manner of what **Wheel** describes.
