Apologies if this has been covered before: I searched but couldn’t find it.

The first time I visit a thread in a day, it brings me to where I left off. This is a great feature. I start reading, and then, after I’ve got about ten posts in, it jumps back, though not quite to where it was before. I’m reading on Windows 10 in Chrome if that matters.

It’s not much more than a minor irritant, but I’m curious as to what’s going on and whether there’s a fix. My guess is “sunspots” and “no.”

Oops… This should probably have gone into “site feedback.” Sorry!

Crazy frustrating isn’t it?

Seems to have something to do with ads reloading and Chrome browser.

Then I start reading the new replies, and scrolling down. after a minute or so, it will suddenly jump back up to the point where I started scrolling from. This is really annoying, because now I have to scroll down and manually find the spot where I had read up to when the thread jumped back. If I’ve got a…

Thanks for the previous thread! I couldn’t find that: I’ll read that now and this one can either be closed or die a natural death.
