I’ve never heard of a “cabbage pocket,” but I’d assume it’s something like stuffed cabbage, which is ground meat rolled up inside a cabbage leaf. ---

Like many others here, I’d never heard the term before, but assumed that it was some sort of food, probably Eastern European, consisting of meat or other filling stuffed into cabbage leaves and cooked. So what _is_ it, anyway? ---

Cabbage Pocket, to me, sounds like someone took two random words and jammed them together. If it’s an actual thing, I have no idea what it is nor does the mind instantly leap to any particular image. ---

My grandmother makes something similar, but we’ve always called them cabbage pies. It’s either cabbage or cabbage and hamburger encased inside a dough pastry and then baked. Both are fantastic. On edit, my Grammer has Swedish roots, but she was born here in The States. In Kansas, matter of fact. ---
