Recently watched _Rio Bravo_ on DVD and laughed out loud at the scene when Angie Dickinson shaves Dean Martin.

As she glides the razor down his lathered cheek, the action is accompanied by a sound not unlike the popping of bubble wrap. Sure, Deano’s character had let himself go and was quite scuffy- but the sound effect was _way_ over the top.

Now, in all fairness to the [Foley Artist](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foley_artist), this eruption of whisker cutting may have been the fault of how the sound was mixed- or perhaps it went over the top when the film was remastered for the DVD release. Still, how many Threads do we ever have about Foley Artists?

So, for the purposes of this Thread, we are blaming the Foley Artist.

What other examples do Dopers have of spaz Foley Artists getting over enthused and going all nutso?
