After Town’s triumphant victory in **Mafia: The Conspiracy** , I’ve been patiently waiting for the next game. I read in one of the threads that there was a queue of moderators lined up for the next game. Aaaaaaaaaannnd…nothing. It’s been weeks and I’m dying to play again. So, what’s the scoop? Does anyone know who is running the next game and when it will begin? ---

I wouldn’t mind playing in another on-board game. I had to opt out of the Blade Runner one because regularly checking another message board proved more time-consuming than I’d thought it’d be… but I’m always on _here_ anyway. ---

Actually, this is as good a place as any to put this out there. To anyone in the Blade Runner game: my apologies for my absence, but my company has royally fucked me over to the point that I can no longer access the game site. See, I telecommute, and they’ve recently changed the setup between my router and the netgate box, so now everything I do goes through the corporate network. Every fricking site that I (or my wife, who is obviously on my home network) go to, whether it’s on work time or not, is subject to being blocked by the company server. And is seems that accessing “psychopathgame” is something the server won’t allow. Needless to say, I’m rabidly pissed off about this, as are the dozens of my coworkers who telecommute as well. The company, realizing they were about to have a mutiny on their hands, announced yesterday that they were going to undo everything they did by the end of the day, but it doesn’t look like that’s the case. So anyway, I’m going to guess I’m getting a lot of flack on the game site for not posting (hell, for not even logging onto the site) for several days. Believe me, I’d love to, but I can’t even see the board at the moment. Hopefully this’ll all be cleared up by the time the weekend is over, but I’ll fully understand if I need to be subbed out. ---

**NAF1138** has the bid for the next Mafia game and mentioned (back on the 22nd) that he/she’d wait a week or two weeks to get it started. And, **Hal** , that’s a bummer. Even if my company were paying for my broadband connection (I wish), I’d be unhappy about restrictions from my home network. Here’s hoping they really do get you back to normal as quickly as possible. ---
