That sounds great. There’s probably a sunset coming for stuff like olive & pickle loaf and the other weird domestic ones at the ends of the deli case. The customers must be getting scarce. Imports seem hot, though.

Yep. This is also going to be broadly true for anything that’s got regulated standards that the products have to adhere to.
That said, sometimes the name-brand products significantly exceed the standard while the house-brand barely meets it. Motor oil is the primary example I’m thinking of. Somethiing like Supertech synthetic motor oil is going to meet all the requisite specs, but may not exceed them materially, while a name-brand like Pennzoil Ultra will meet the specs and likely exceed them as well.
