When, or if, or should; President Obama rescind [Executive Order 13233](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13233)? This is the Executive Order that seals some of the records of Presidents H W Bush and Regan in regards to the Iran Contra affair. ---

This is important beyond the basic fact of easier access to historical documents. Here we have a president **giving up an aspect of power** by choice. That’s pretty huge. ---
