…which do you wash first: your hair or your body?
I started an informal poll the last time I had a big family get together, and the results were more evenly split than I had expected. I don’t often actually post around here, let alone start whole threads, but I had a feeling everyone here would be willing to share their showering habits for the sake of science.
For the record, I wash my hair first, then my body.

Shampoo hair, rinse out.
Squeeze the last remaining molecules of conditioner out of the bottle… proceed to condition hair.
Whilst conditioner is doing it’s job, wash body.
rinse conditioner… get out of shower .

Based on your user names, I’m assuming you are all female (as am I). Just wondering if gender makes a difference in shower habits. Hopefully some of the man around here will weigh in with their prefrences.

1. wash hair
2. put conditioner in
3. put scrunchie in so conditioner doesn’t give me bacne
4. wash feet
5. shave armpits
6. wash back and chest
7. rinse conditioner out
8. wash naughty parts
9. anything else (involving legs and arms, etc) if i have time that morning

since soap and hair don’t go well together:
Wash face, neck - any/all skin the washing of which might get soap in hair.
Rinse
Shampoo
Rinse
Apply conditioner
wash rest of skin while conditioner cooks
rinse top-to-bottom
(glad to be of service)

-put shampoo in hair, scrub
-let it sit while I scrub and shave under arms and my legs below the knees
-rinse, put in conditioner while i scrub everywhere else and shave above the knees
-rinse and done!

Body first here. Then the hair gets it next, and I shave while partially blind from the shampoo and soap all over my face. Then the rinse cycle takes place.

Definitely body first, then the hair. This is just the way I’ve always done it.
For what it’s worth, has anyone ever been confused over what to do for washing which part of your body when? I know that I HATE when I forget to do my face first, which is almost every single time. I’ll scrub my armpits, body, legs, butt, and guy-parts thoroughly, than suddenly realize with revulsion that I STILL NEED TO WASH MY FACE :eek:. Imagine me standing there and looking at the washcloth in horror. Now, I know that I just need to rinse the thing off, but it’s still kinda nasty. I dunno, maybe this is a stupid hangup. Anyone else do this?

I’ve always done it that way am glad im not alone …good to see the boards are back…been waiting to join. Anymore polls and i’d be glad to join in … 🆒🙂

1. Shampoo in hair
2. Shave underarms
3. Rinse
4. Conditioner in hair
5. Use pumice stone on feet
6. Rinse
7. Brush teeth
8. Scrub face w/apricot scrubby stuff
9. Wash body
9a. Arms and torso (left arm first, then work across)
9b. Legs (right leg first)
9c. Naughty bits
10. Rinse
If it’s a leg-shaving day, that would be step 0 in this procedure, and step 11 (apply and rinse sea salt and almond oil scrub) is added.

This is kinda weird.
First I wash my chest. I would do my face first but I don’t really like the idea of rubbing the soap on my face when the second to last thing it touched the last time I washed was the crack of my ass.
Second I do my face. Then I wash my arms and armpits. Then I do my groin, then my ass, then my legs (hoping my leg hair will remove ass traces from the soap).
After I do all that I may or may not wash my hair, since it’s less than a 1/4 inch long.

**Badtz** , are you saying that you use just the soap bar!?
Good luck man, if that’s the case there is simply no way you are going to avoid getting germs and stuff on it. That’s just the way it is. There’s a REASON that bar soap isn’t used in public restrooms…
