When someone is about to cry, he/she feels a feeling (maybe the feeling of the coming cry) intensifies inside him/her as he/she tries so hard not to cry. Is there a name or an explanation for this feeling?

More specifically, it is like sneezing. The moments before you sneeze, one might feel the feeling of coming sneeze intensifies. But, if the person tries hard enough, he/she succeeds in not sneezing. But it does not work with crying. The harder one tries, the less controllable the cry might become.
