# When your SO goes out, do you demand the details? Curfew?

My answer is similar to this. I didn’t read all the posts, but I suspect others said the same as well. It goes like this

Her: I’m going out  
Me : When are you going to be home?  
Her: I don’t know  
Me: Any idea whatsoever?  
Her: I don’t know, what difference does it matter  
Me: I don’t need an exact answer. I don’t need to know that you’re coming home at 10:45, but are you planning to be gone until 7:00 or 1 in the morning. I just need to know when I should be worried.

It’s usually a bit of an argument, but all I just want to know if she’s going to be gone for 45 minutes or 5 hours, just a ballpark.

The other reason I like to know is becuse if she’s going to be back in an hour (or an hour after the baby goes to sleep), I’ll just turn on TV, but if I have a few hours to myself, I know I’ll be able to watch a movie without her walking in 13 minutes after I start it.

I don’t think I could be with a woman who can’t pin down when she’ll be back. I’d be too curious just why she can never pin down that time.

And overnight stays with a “friend”… dunno. That’d bother me, too.

Be upfront, or be gone… imo. But I have a hang up with being sure a person is being straight with me…
