I live fairly close to Portland, OR and I’d like to know where I could find info on where peacefull anti-war demonstrations will be held this coming weekend and next week. Could anybody give me any information on this? I always hear about the demonstrations but I don’t know where and when they are held. I know there are protests going on in Portland as I’m writing this, but I don’t want anything to do with them right now. They are taking place without a permit and they are blocking traffic. ---

A good place to start would be a big university. You got any big universities in Portland, Oregon? Call their student newspaper and ask them. ---

You could also check with the police or sheriff to see who’s gotten permits and where they will be. ---

That’s nice. At the protest I went to, they directed people to [unitedforpeace.org](http://www.unitedforpeace.org/) for this sort of question.
