Alex Witt on MSNBC show a bit of the SNL cold open this morning. With their fake Kari Lake (sorry, I’ve forgotten the actor’s name) talking about drowning in vaseline. That’s something I noticed – how soft focus all Kari Lake’s zoom calls were. She was so smooth she looked like she didn’t have a nose. ---

Kari Lake not only grew up in the city where I live now, but she was also a newscaster for a while. My local media has said NOTHING about this, even though her parents still live here, and I don’t blame them. ---

They’re asking for the military to take over the elections? Yeah, that’s worked out so well in places like Thailand, Pakistan, Philippines, Myanmar, all the bastions of freedom and democracy.
