It usually goes like this - Top dating connection conduits from most to least effective 1: Mutual friend, acquaintance intros - mostly mediated by females. For this to work you have to be somewhat social and know a fair number of people, and the referring/introducing women in these social circles have to have a generally favorable opinion of you. 2: Online Dating (depending on circumstances and location this can often be more effective than mutual friend hookups above) 3: Bars, entertainment venues (concerts etc) , common interest hobby groups, clubs, outdoor sporting etc. activities 4: Wandering in grocery stores, bookstores (not very effective) ---

There were few datable women at my church. I was in my 30s, and most in our congregation were in their 50s and 60s. There was a site called [Equally Yoked](http://www.equallyyoked.com). I just checked quickly and it looks like they’re still active. I met my wife at work. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary. Good luck to you! ---

We were camping out for Springsteen tickets, back when you had to do that. You kids and your instant dating and “Apps” for that. When I was your age, apps is what we ordered at Bennigans or Friday’s.
