I just did a breakdown of my threads. Why? Because I am bored. Anyway, it broke down to: ATMB - 3 GQ - 13 GD - 5 CS - 47 IMHO - 26 MPSIMS - 47 Pit - 21 From this I can conclude that I am a popular culture dillitante who occasionally gets peeved about something, but generally knows how to use Google and likes shooting the shit about the inconsequential trivia that fills our lives. :eek: šŸ˜ƒ So what can we discover about you, based on your threads? ---

That would be ā€œin the butt,ā€ Bob. I tried searching but ever since you posted your question, the Board has been slow, I suspect from people using the ā€œSearchā€ engine to find out. I would actually rather ask people to guess their percentages and THEN research. Me, Iā€™d guess ATMB: 1% CoCC: 0% GQ: 14% GD: 8% IMHO: 10% MPSIMS: 22% CS: 39% PIT: 6% ---

ATMB - 0 CoCC - 0 CoSR - 0 GQ - 4 GD -0 CS - 4 IMHO - 20 MPSIMS - 18 Pit -2 We could conclude that I like to ask peopleā€™s opinions on less-than-cosmic topics. Most of my IMHO threads seem to be about style, sex, or relationships. We can also conclude that sometimes I just like starting a silly little thread about something (MPSIMS), sometimes I have a question I canā€™t quite answer myself, wonder something about food, books, or music on occasion, and sometimes get mad enough that I feel the need to post about it. Now that I have a livejournal, though, itā€™s highly likely that Iā€™ll never start another Pit thread. ---

Mine have had a habit of getting moved, if not locked, so doing a search on mine would only show where they ended up. That said, and going with a reasonable guess, Iā€™d say: MPSIMS 40% IMHO 30% Cafe Society 24% GQ 5% ATMB 1% Iā€™d be surprised if this guess was off by more than 5% either way on the big ones. The GQ guess may be high. On the other hand, my replies have been more generalized, and I imagine Iā€™ve contributed to every forum except for Staff Reports and Cecilā€™s stuff. I try to avoid The Pit, though. ---

Ok, here we go ā€“ Pre-research guesses: ATMB: 1% CoCC: 0% CoSR: 0% GQ: 5% GD: 0% IMHO: 22% MPSIMS: 50% CS: 18% PIT: 4% Actual percentages: ATMB: 1.6% CoCC: 0% CoSR: 0% GQ: 4.3% GD: 0% IMHO: 11.8% MPSIMS: 68.2% CS: 10.7% PIT: 3.2% Actual numbers: Total number of threads started: 186 ATMB: 3 CoCC: 0 CoSR: 0 GQ: 8 GD: 0 IMHO: 22 MPSIMS: 127 CS: 20 PIT: 6 My guesswork wasnā€™t _too_ bad ā€“ I was within one percentage point for three of them (six, if you count the three 0% ones). Basically what I learned is that I start meaningless threads a lot more often than I thought, and I already thought I started a lot of them. ---
