# Where are the intellectual writings of fascism?

In [Notes on Nationalism](http://www.resort.com/~prime8/Orwell/nationalism.html), Orwell speaks of Chesterton under the heading “Catholic Fascism”. He also wrote this: “Pacifist writers have written in praise of Carlyle, one of the intellectual fathers of Fascism.”

But the whole essay is very interesting.

Although I know too little about the subject to critique its contents, I’d like to give praise to Gobineau’s post as well. Very well written.
