# Where are the Rosicrucians going to meet on 12/21/2012?

LOL. I donât know whether youâre drunk, joking, or taking this seriously. On the off chance that youâre actually being serious:
You do NOT have to be a 32nd degree Freemason to be a Shriner. The 32nd degree is conferred _only_ in Scottish Rite Freemasonry, which is a _completely_ optional Masonic body that is _not_ connected to the Blue Lodge or the Shrine. You need only be a Master Mason of the regular Blue Lodge to become a Shriner.
Your comment, therefore, suggests that you are neither a Mason nor a Shriner. And your second post after that suggests that you are drunk.

Wrong sir! Wrong. You drank the fizzy lifting drink so you get nothing. Good day sir! Hahahaha. You have to be a 3rd degree Master Mason in the BLUE LODGE BEFORE you are allowed to go on to the other CONNECTING branchs of masonry. You are clearly not a Freemason or researcher or you would know that. After you get your 3rd degree, lots of us go into the Scottish Rite Masonry because there are higher degrees to get and learn from. They go from the 4th degree to the 33rd degree. So obviously theyâre related if you did your homework, which clearly you havenât. All this IS available online. As far as Shriners go now, For the last countless years you HAD to be a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason to even become a Shriner. The last couple years have been different because the Supreme Grand Council changed it so that 3rd degree masons could be Shriners because less Masons were becoming Shriners. This caused an uproar within the fraternity and the numbers havenât changed since that decision. It should NOT have been done. And for the record, I donât drink. I will answer anything you want to know but almost all of what I am telling you is online somewhere. Iâm actually doing it, and not reading stuff from hate groups. We are NOT a secret society. We are just a society with secrets. Good day.

Wait, come to think of it . . . I think itâs only the Hasidic Rosicrucians who still do that. A friend invited me to a seder once and there was only goatâs blood (Manischevitz). But heâs Reform, so Iâm still not sure.

The Cod Wars were **supposed** to be a religious war, there was a misprint in the declaration.

Absolutely _nothing_ that you just said contradicts _anything_ that I said! We are just talking past each other! In fact, you yourself in the above post _confirmed_ what I said: currently, you do not need to be a 32nd in the Scottish Rite to be a Shriner, but only a Master Mason.
I have only been in the lodge for a little over a year. I was raised to the 3rd degree on July 3rd of 2010. Obviously they had already changed the policy on the Shrine before I joined. We recently were shown a promotional video for the Shrine at our stated meeting last month (narrated by the great Richard Tyson of _Kindergarten Cop_!) It certainly never said anything about Scottish Rite being a prerequisite. All Master Masons were encouraged to join.

**Pauli P** , you have been formally warned for being a jerk. That official reason, in this case, is only a catch-all for any of several other reasons, including trolling and hate speech.
