I want to input a 10 digit phone number and do a reverse lookup for the name and address from where that number is. And I want to do it for free. Where do I go? ---

Do a Google search for ā€œReverse Lookupā€ and youā€™ll get a lot of sites. [www.superpages.com](http://www.superpages.com) allows reverse lookup of both business and personal numbers. Itā€™s a decent place to start. Keep in mind that all the sites tend to deliver the same information. ---

Google also has its own lookup feature. Enter my phone number (as XXX-XXX-XXXX) into Googlr and you get both my and Mr Sā€™s phone listings (we have different last names, so separate listings for the same address and phone number). Works for listed residential. Not sure about business. It also works the other way ā€“ enter ā€œfirstname lastname cityā€ and get the phone number (if itā€™s a unique listing). ---

Thereā€™s also [Reverse Phone Directory](http://www.reversephonedirectory.com), but itā€™s buggy and doesnā€™t always work. In my job, where I often have reason to match name and address to phone number, I always use pay sites because the information is fresher. ---

I always use [www.anywho.com](http://www.anywho.com), but Iā€™m not sure how recent their info is. Itā€™s free, too. ---

My best friendā€™s husband is cheating on her and she got a phone number quite by accident. I vaguely remembered seeing a post here on how to find a name with just the phone number. I had no luck till I tried Dukeā€™s link and hit the jackpot with that one. Iā€™ll tell you friends, I had no idea what someone can find out about you! You just might want to type your own number in and see what you get. If willing to pay, one could even get ā€œsatelliteā€ information on someone. Now I canā€™t even imagine what that might be, but it doesnā€™t sound good. But on the other hand, I have a friend who has a lot of rental property and I can really understand why a background check might be a good thing. I have seen his places trashed beyond beliefā€“just imagine the last time critters ripped open your garbage bags and multiply that times 100ā€¦ ---

Yup. Your first site seemed to be the one Duke sent me to. The second site just totally blew my mind and fried my brainā€¦what the hell? Opps! HELL I should be more careful.
