…other than buying one online which may take a couple weeks to arrive.

I have used a butane lighter occasionally for a few years mostly for lighting incense, but now it needs more butane gas. Since I’m not a smoker, I don’y really experience purchasing lighter/smoking accessories. Can the butane refillers be purchased at a Wal-Mart or Meijer or K-Mart type place or do I need to go to a specialty shop that sells a large variety of tobacco products?

I also long a long grill lighter but the incense doesn’t burn as long when I use it.

You can buy a can of butane for refills pretty much anywhere that refillable devices are sold. Wal-Mart. Target, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc.

At one time, there were an astounding number of adapters for various devices, but they are pretty much all the same now, so any butane refill should work.

I can’t even imagine how you would light incense so that it burns faster, unless you are setting the whole stick on fire.

Walmart has cans of butane, though you’ll probably have to ask for it. (Here) they keep it behind the counter with the cigarettes and other items you have to be 18+ to buy.

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. The incense does not always stay lit when I use a grill lighter.

Thanks to both of you for your answers. I’m several years past 18, so age is not problem but I’ll be certain to bring my ID card.
