Probably an old version. When I was in the Navy, I’d buy the local edition of Monopoly of the host country I was stationed in (Except, alas, Japan as I had not thought of it then). When I was in Iceland in 1976, it was the UK edition with an extra rules folder in Icelandic tossed into the box. They hadn’t even translated the cards.

That must be it! It even has that rules folder on what now has turned into pretty yellow paper. Thanks!
