# Where can I find a specific short film?

Occasionally I’ll be looking up an actor in IMDb and it will list short films they’ve been in. This seems to be more common with actors from Europe. Anyone have recommended sites to find these films? The specific one recently was “[A Sin to Waste It](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1378773/)” but I’m hoping for a generic strategy not just this title.

Good luck.
There is no central clearinghouse, library, or organization that tracks short films. I’ve been trying to track down several for decades, and although I’ve made calls and sent letters and emails all over the world, I have yet to find these films.
Internet browsing is going to be your best bet to find that film, and even then you’re likely going to have to stumble across someone’s blog or something who’s seen the film you’re looking for.

Sometimes you can gt them in a collection. For example, I saw _La Jetée_, the movie _Twelve Monkeys_ was based on in a collection of avant-garde films, like one DVD had 4 or 5 sorts films on it.
