I flipped past Michael Caine’s film _Zulu_ the other day, and I was reminded of one of the things that made that movie great…the songs. Specifically, the songs/chants that the Zulu warriors were singing.

Here’s the trouble…those songs aren’t on the official soundtrack, they aren’t listed in the credits so I have no idea of even what their _names_ were, and since I don’t speak Zulu, I can’t search for their lyrics. Hell, I don’t even know if they were authentic, traditional songs, or if they were written for the film.

But, luckily, this board is probably one of the few places online where I can ask about this music, and actually hope to get an answer. So, I beg of you…what _were_ those Zulu songs in the movie, and can I find audio recordings of them anywhere?

Aw hell, _nothing?_ Well what the devil am I supposed to play when I’m besieging a bunch of Welshmen?
