Watched it, actually. It’s a dramatic presentation (mini-movie?), not a written work.

It was a web-based mini-series.

I bought one as a Halloween costume from this eBayer:
[http://cgi.ebay.com/Dr-Horrible-Lab-Coat-w-Caduceus-Embroidered-pocket-/110667473687?pt=LH\_DefaultDomain\_0&hash=item19c44ba317](http://cgi.ebay.com/Dr-Horrible-Lab-Coat-w-Caduceus-Embroidered-pocket-/110667473687?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c44ba317)

He makes them according to your measurements, and most likely can customize it to your preferences (black buttons or whatever). I think I paid about $60 at the time, but I got the one without the caduceus emblem.

I used welding gloves since I wanted to be as accurate as possible.

I too want a double-breasted Victorian lab smock. The Amazon and FullMoon Mask links are very, very close. But I can’t decide if they’re close enough to my ideal to justify spending the money.

Elbow length “mad scientist” gloves are actually linemans’ rubber high voltage insulating gloves. Ebay hits for keywords gloves insulating, or gloves KV

Note that lead x-ray shielding gloves are heavy, expensive, and don’t look nearly as impressive as the 20KV lineman’s golves!

Sandblasting gloves are lighter and cheaper. The ones for cabinets can come up to mid upper arm.
