Right now I have a simple one about Internet Explorer. Can’t find the right forum. The early thread in GQ doesn’t seem to have any action lately.

If [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=260053) doesn’t have the answer you seek, then GQ would be your best bet, I’d say.

This board does not really get enough computer questions to attract the experts chomping at the bit to help you. For Microsoft products, their support site will lead you several active fora.

For other computer questions a search for “forum” or “board” may be in order. Add the keywords that are common to your quesion.

One site I’ve used with success is [http://forums.majorgeeks.com/](http://forums.majorgeeks.com/)
Another batch of boards is sponsored by PC Magazine at [http://discuss.pcmag.com/](http://discuss.pcmag.com/)
