Whole Foods doesn’t carry it. Suggestions, anyone? ---

Call around to the HEB’s. Each HEB is going to be pretty localized to its location. It’s been awhile since I lived in Austin, but the HEB on 38th (?) north of UT has alot of variety due to the number of international students that live in that neighborhood. Now, do you mean pawpaw, or do you mean papaya? ---

I do mean [pawpaw](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pawpaw). I haven’t had any luck with Whole Foods, Central Market or Fiesta Mart. I’ll give HEB a call. ---

Give Sun Harvest a call, too, as long as you’re calling around. But if WF and CM don’t have it, I wouldn’t get my hopes up. ---

It’s not in season. August to October is when you can get it fresh. You can find frozen somewhere, perhaps. ---

Are pawpaws even in season now? Up here in the north, the trees have lost their leaves, and the remaining fruit lies half rotted and frozen on the ground. ---
