And yet another easy bruiser here. I used to sleep on a waterbed, the kind that’s a baggie full of water in a box. And, during the course of any given day, I’d find myself trying to figure out where those bruises on my arms and legs were coming from… …turns out that in the night, I’d roll over, hit my arm and/or leg against the side of the bed hard enough to bruise me, but not enough to wake me. _sighs_ Since switching to another kind of bed, it’s cut down on the amount of mystery bruises I’ve had by a significant amount. They still show up from time to time however, with no real rhyme or reason, in interesting and exotic locales. My Sister and Mom are the same way however, so perhaps there’s something genetic at work. * * * \<\< Ow. \>\> ---

I don’t know that I actually bruise more easily than other people, or whether it is just that I’m so white that I’m practically transparent and even the faintest bruise shows up like neon. I’ve had a lot more phantom bruises since getting kitties. A lot more phantom, _paw-sized_ bruises. Not for nothing is one of our cats nicknamed Peg Paw. ---
