I read a thread last night in CS titled “Terminator question - [more words I don’t remember]”. I left it open on my phone browser. Today I tried to refresh it to see if there were new posts, but I got a message that I didn’t have authority to do that. I went back to CS and the thread was gone. None of the posts seemed inappropriate at all, so I can’t see any reason for the Mods to vanish it.

So, did Skynet send a Hackernator back through time to kill the thread because a poster knew too much, or is there a more mundane explanation?

Always assume that if a post/thread disappears, it was made by a sock account. Banned and the thread moved out of sight. That’s’ what happened.
