Where Did This Scream Originate?

to ncharle0, sadly I have to say it’s from a soundeffects CD.
I mixed that track a long time ago, and I believe it’s either from Sound Ideas or Hollywood Edge CD’s.

I could have SWORN I’ve heard the scream in either the Addams Family or the Munsters, putting the origin back to the early sixties… After doing some sleuthing though, I realized that I heard the scream not in the show (although I have a feeling I have heard it there somewhere before), but rather in a COVER to The Munster’s theme song :frowning:

The scream happens twice, one of which is at 2:03.

If I’m ever watching the Munsters or Addams Family and the scream pops up, I’ll be sure to let you guys know first.

Still looking for this scream…It’s from the new NBC Show Grimm. It was used in the very first scene of the female running in the park upon being attacked. This video doesn’t draw it out like usual, but it’s a small portion of the scream. - YouTube

Panicked Shrieks of Fear from Woman. Hollywood Edge.

First noticed it in a Mortal Kombat game in the Krypt (I think it was MK Annihilation, but it may have been Deception). They would play this and the Howie Scream in the background music.
