I believe it was **Johnny LA** that posted about it a couple of years ago and I then googled it. After that I had lots of Krampus ads from [Amazon](http://www.amazon.com/Krampus-Greeting-Cards-Gruss-vom/dp/0867197781/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449555769&sr=8-1&keywords=krampus+cards). It was spooky! ---

I read about Krampus 'way back when I was a kid, reading about Christmas customs around the world. Here in Salem, MA last weekend I saw two people dressed as Krampus. One was in a furry suit, with cloven hooves and with a (plastic) baby in a cauldron slung over its shoulder. It was talking with two kids who didn’t seem, sat all scared. ---

I think it was in the computer game Terraria. There’s an enemy called Krampus during the Frost Moon event. ---

I learned about the Krampus when I was trying to find a movie I’d seen Adam Scott in on IMDB, and saw “Krampus” listed as an upcoming project. That guy makes weird choices on which movies he’s in. ---

The first time I’m aware of being exposed to Krampus was in Season 3 of _Supernatural_, episode 8, “A Very Supernatural Christmas” in 2007. ---
