I have an odd name story. My name is Suzette. Is that bizzare or what? Everyone figues I’m French, but I’m Slovak/Russian (with a French name). Anyone else have odd name origin stories? ---

My middle name is Thomas. When my dad was in college, he needed a car really bad (for a date with my mom?) and didn’t have one. His best friend at the time, Tom, lent him his. My dad’s response was, “Thanks so much! I’ll name my first-born after you.” ---

My parents allowed my older sister to name me and at the time she had a friend named Susan who she played with. My middle name, Beth was just a name my parents liked. ---
