Well my ancestors were Cornish and there’s a bit of German also. I am very Aussie and I’m happy to be South Australian cos it means that I DON’T descend from convicts :smiley: That god someone decided to make a settlement in Australia for all the good non-convict people

Geez… my high school… you’re lucky to find an anglo-saxon anywhere. Adelaide High prides itself on being multicultural… it’s got students from over 65 different cultures… mainly Asian though

Almost pure Scottish/English ancestory. Had 'lations who fought on both sides @ Culloden and most headed to Australia as an end product of the Highland Clearances, when the lairds removed crofters from their lands to make way for sheep grazing. It is therefore rather ironic that the maternal side of the woolly family are 5th generation Australian sheep farmers.
