supermarket books section is very helpful for familiarizing myself with the latest and greatest in Dean Koontz and Harlequin romances. Not that there is anything wrong with Dean Koontz 🙂

So, where do I go for the popular graphics novels for the adult audience? Does that even exist in America nowadays?

Barnes & Nobles or other large bookstore, in the manga section. These will of course, be the manga that are translated and selling the US. Not the bestsellers in Japan.

You can also buy them online, at places like [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com). There are also the publishers’ websites, e.g., [Tokyo Pop](http://www.tokyopop.com/) and [Yen Press](http://www.yenpress.com/).
