Thanks right back to you, **Just Ed**. It’s encouraging to know some of these polls I’ve posted are well-received. Your suggestions are good ones and I’d like to see some other ideas on how to poll for those concerns. So far, all I know about the capabilities of the Polling Function here involves pretty straightforward options. Side options and subordinate issues may require multiple polls and/or predetermined categories that not everyone would agree are applicable or accurate. More discussion would help. ---

My main source is [CNN.com](http://CNN.com). But I rely heavily on SDMB as well; there is usually no shortage of links to Buddha knows where for some juicy news items. ---

Fark and Slashdot post the only news I care enough about (meaning tech-related or funny) to seek out on my own. For anything else, I read about it here or through Facebook. ---

At the bottom of _The Huffington Post_, it lists its news sources. Among its news sources are ABC, CNN, _Los Angeles Times_, _The New York Times_, Politico, TMZ, USA Today, and _The Washington Post_. ---
