Uh… **imthjckaz** “bank holiday” is a British phrase meaning national holiday and while the banks might very well be closed, that is not the meaning. Besides, the SDMB is international, whereas Memorial Day is not. Surely you don’t expect everyone to celebrate our holidays, especially those that are patriotic.
